Aaliyah Daniel Haughton made her way into fame in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but an Numer. At the time, she was just 15 years old. that time, and the album went on to become Gold. The group was heavily inspired by R. Kelly, and helped put her in the spotlight. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland came out with Aaliyah's sophomore album One In A Million. It contained If Your Girls Only Knew the most-sold single. Aaliyah received international recognition for her R&B vocals through the album. Aaliyah appeared alongside famous martial artist Jet-Li Romeo Must Die (2000) the action and romance film. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. She was a part of the Anne Rice-based vampire film Queen of the Damned, which premiered in 2002. The Matrix Sequels was her first role in The Matrix Sequels. But, she has both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for professional name. Although she began her acting career with minor TV and film parts, her acting career started to gain speed in the late 2000s. Other notable works she has done are Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. In addition, she has appeared in important commercials of brands such as Volvo which is an international automobile maker. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actor.
