Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian Actress who is best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea pa' which she is enamoured. She is also an accomplished performer and model. She is a Montreal native, she grew as a child in Texas and was always interested in performing. Since she was a child, she had been trained in various dance forms. The first time she entered beauty contests at the age of fifteen. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. She began acting in 2010 when she played an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. She also appeared in her first feature film, the action drama Tattooed Love.
