Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz who was birthed within Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents after the town where she was raised up. Michel Horowitz is her father and Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father and mother also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. In the year Ryder was only seven her family moved into Mendocino County California. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder was a prolific reader due to the absence of television. Ryder was 12 when she took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. In 1986 she was offered her first role on the big screen in the movie Lucas at just 15 years old. Ryder was bullied in the high school. Her hope was that her acting career would change that. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But she continued to pursue her goal. Beetlejuice, a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big break. Ryder continued playing roles that were successful in various films. In 1993, he was nominated twice for Academy Awards.
